Build and maintain the products and services in your catalogue so you can reuse them across supported selling channels.

Catalogue management is where you create and maintain the products and services your business sells in the iK Dashboard. Keeping your catalogue accurate means you can reuse the same items in supported selling channels such as Pay Links and your online store.

Open Catalogue Management

  1. Sign in to the iK Dashboard.

  2. Open Store.

  3. Select Catalogue Management.

Use the Products and Services views to find the type of item you want to manage.

Add a product

  1. Open the Products view.

  2. Select Add a Product.

  3. Enter the product name, category and selling price.

  4. Add the other fields shown that help customers or your team understand the item.

  5. Save the product.

Optional product fields include an image, description, SKU, VAT at 15%, cost price and variants. You can upload up to 3 product images. Complete the fields that apply to your business, and check the product name and selling price before saving.

Add a service

  1. Open the Services view or select Add a Service from Catalogue Management.

  2. Enter the service name, category and selling price.

  3. Add a description or duration if those fields appear in the form.

  4. Save the service.

Optional service fields include duration per hour, SKU, VAT at 15%, a description and a service image. You can upload up to 3 service images.

A service is not a stocked physical product, so it does not have a stock quantity in stock management.

What is a variant?

A variant is an option of the same product, such as a different size, colour or configuration. Use variants when customers are choosing options for one product rather than buying completely different catalogue items. You can add up to 15 variant options to a product and set a separate selling price and cost price for each one where needed.

Use categories to organise the catalogue

Categories group related products and services so they are easier to find and analyse. When an item has no category, it may appear as Uncategorised until you assign one; this does not mean the item has been deleted.

To create a custom category, start adding a product or service. Type the category name in the category field. When Add to List appears, select it. Save the item to see the category beside it in your catalogue. The iK Dashboard does not provide an option to edit or update a custom category.

If you created products in the iKhokha app or on a card machine before catalogue management was available, you may find them under Uncategorised. In checkout, categories saved in the iK Dashboard appear in alphabetical order. Swipe left to find Uncategorised.

Edit or remove one item

Open the item in Catalogue Management and use the edit or action control shown. Review the item before saving a change. If you remove an item, check whether it is still used in a Pay Link, your online store or another selling feature before confirming.

Where your catalogue is reused

Products and services saved in catalogue management can be used at checkout in the iKhokha app and on a card machine. To choose which catalogue items appear in your online store, see Add products and services to your online store. To update several catalogue items at once, see Bulk update your catalogue. To manage stock quantities, see Manage your stock.
