Use iK Accounting reports to review cash flow, profit, sales, expenses, balances and other accounting records.

iK Accounting reports help you look at different parts of your business finances. Choose the report based on the question you are trying to answer, then check the selected period, connected activity and income or expense records that feed into it.

Open the report list

  1. Sign in to the iK Dashboard.

  2. Under Reports, select Accounting.

  3. Open Reports.

Choose the report you need

Cash Flow Statement

Use Cash Flow Statement when you want to review money moving into and out of the business. The report can include a report selector, a Categories filter, a period control such as Monthly, a filter or settings control and a date range.

Profit & Loss

Use Profit & Loss to compare income and expenses for the selected period. Profit is not the same as the amount of cash in your bank account; timing, unpaid activity and other movements can make the two views different.

Sales Report

Use Sales Report when you want a report of sales activity grouped in the way the Accounting view provides. To check one transaction, receipt or payment status, see View your sales in Sales History instead.

Expense Report

Use Expense Report to review expenses recorded for the selected period. If an expense is missing or categorised unexpectedly, see Add and manage income and expenses and check the underlying record.

Balance Sheet

Balance Sheet gives a view of what the business owns, owes and holds according to the records available in Accounting. Use it as a report view, not as personalised accounting advice.

Trial Balance

Trial Balance shows debit and credit balances across the accounts included in the Accounting records. Ask your accountant if you need help interpreting a balance or deciding whether a correction is required.

Choose a period and open a report

  1. Set the month, date range or period shown by the report controls.

  2. Choose the report card that matches your question.

  3. Select View or the action shown.

  4. Check the report name and period before interpreting the figures.

Some controls, such as date ranges or category filters, can differ between reports. Use only the controls displayed in the report you opened.

Export or download a report

If the open report shows an Export, Download or similar action, use that control and check the selected period before saving the file. Export options can differ by report.

Keep exported financial information secure and share it only with people who need it.

If you need VAT records

Accounting Reports includes the six report cards listed above, not a separate VAT report. To set up VAT on your iKhokha profile, see Set up VAT on your iKhokha profile. To download your monthly iKhokha tax invoices, see Download your iKhokha tax invoices.

If a report total doesn't match your records

  1. Check the selected period and date range.

  2. Check the connected bank account and its last update.

  3. Review Income & Expenses for missing or duplicated records.

  4. Check whether the report is measuring cash movement, sales, expenses or balances.

  5. If a report total still doesn't match your records after these checks, ask your accountant before you change any records.
