Unpublish or republish your online store
- iK Dashboard
Stop new online store orders by unpublishing your store, then republish it when you are ready.
Unpublish your online store when you are temporarily closed, changing your store or not ready to accept new orders. Republish it from the same published-status control when you are ready. Unpublishing the store is different from removing a product, changing stock or cancelling existing orders.
Unpublish your online store
Sign in to the iK Dashboard.
Open Store.
Select Webstore.
Find the published-status toggle next to your online store.
Switch the toggle off using the control shown.
Check the status after saving. An unpublished store should stop accepting new online store orders. Open the customer-facing store before sharing the link again so you know what customers see.
Republish your online store
Return to the same online store management screen.
Check that your products, prices, stock and fulfilment settings are ready.
Switch the published-status toggle back on.
Open the customer-facing store and confirm that it is available before sharing the link again.
What happens to existing orders?
Unpublishing your online store stops new customer orders. Continue managing orders already placed through Manage your orders, and manage catalogue availability through your stock and product controls. If a customer has already paid, handle the order or refund separately. Unpublishing the store doesn't cancel or refund the payment.
