Which phones work with iK Tap on Phone

iK Tap on Phone works on compatible Android phones with NFC. Your phone needs Android 9 or higher. iK Tap on Phone is not available on iPhone.

Check your Android version

Open your phone’s Settings to find the Android version, security update level and Google Play system level. Menu names can differ between phone brands and Android versions.

Check that your phone has NFC

NFC (Near Field Communication) lets your phone read a contactless card held close to it. Check your phone’s Settings for NFC. It is usually under Connections or Wireless & Networks. Some phones have NFC hardware that you need to switch on.

If you are unsure whether your phone has NFC, check the manufacturer’s specifications. iK Tap on Phone needs an NFC-enabled Android phone running Android 9 or higher.

Use the iKhokha compatibility check

1. Open the iKhokha app.

2. Open Settings.

3. Select Help, then About Device.

4. Check Device Supports Tap on Phone.

Use the result shown for your particular phone. A phone model name alone is not enough because the same model can have different features in different countries or model variants.

If your phone is compatible

If the compatibility check confirms that your device supports iK Tap on Phone, make sure your iKhokha profile is approved to accept payments, your phone is connected to the internet and NFC is on. You can then Set up iK Tap on Phone.
