Set up iK Pay Gateway on WooCommerce

Connect iK Pay Gateway to your WooCommerce checkout by generating the platform credential in the iK Dashboard, adding it to your WooCommerce payment settings and testing the checkout in test mode before you go live.

Get your WooCommerce store ready

• An active iKhokha profile that can accept online payments.

• An ecommerce-enabled WooCommerce site with access to its payment or integration settings.

• A safe place to store the credential while you configure the site.

Generate the WooCommerce credential in the iK Dashboard

1. Sign in to the iK Dashboard.

2. Open Integrations and choose Payment Gateways.

3. Select the WooCommerce option.

4. Enter the store or reference name requested.

5. Generate and copy the credential shown.

Add iK Pay Gateway to WooCommerce

Open the WooCommerce payment or integration settings and add the iK Pay Gateway option or plugin supplied for the platform. Paste the credential into the field provided, save the settings and enable iKhokha as a payment option.

The exact menu names and plugin labels can change when WooCommerce updates its editor. Use the WooCommerce instructions alongside the iKhokha credential screen.

Test before going live

1. Open your website as a customer.

2. Add an item and continue to checkout.

3. Choose iKhokha and confirm that the payment page opens.

4. Enable Test Mode in your WooCommerce gateway settings and save. Run a test transaction on your website. After it succeeds, turn off Test Mode and save the settings.

5. Check the payment result in your website order record and iK Dashboard before fulfilling an order.

If WooCommerce does not connect
