Connect iK Pay Gateway to your Savvy checkout and test a payment before you go live.
Connect iK Pay Gateway to your Savvy checkout by generating the platform credential in the iK Dashboard, adding it to your Savvy payment settings before you go live.
Get your Savvy store ready
An active iKhokha profile that can accept online payments.
An ecommerce-enabled Savvy site with access to its payment or integration settings.
A safe place to store the credential while you configure the site.
Generate the Savvy credential in the iK Dashboard
Sign in to the iK Dashboard.
Open Integrations and choose Payment Gateways.
Select the Savvy option.
Enter the store or reference name requested.
Generate and copy the credential shown.
Add iK Pay Gateway to Savvy
Open the Savvy payment or integration settings and add the iK Pay Gateway option or plugin supplied for the platform. Paste the credential into the field provided, save the settings and enable iKhokha as a payment option.
The exact menu names and plugin labels can change when Savvy updates its editor. Use the Savvy instructions alongside the iKhokha credential screen.
Test before going live
Open your website as a customer.
Add an item and continue to checkout.
Choose iKhokha and confirm that the payment page opens.
Check the payment result in your website order record and iK Dashboard before fulfilling an order.
If Savvy does not connect
Check that the credential belongs to this store, that it was copied completely and that the gateway is enabled. Do not include your API secret when you ask for help.
