Check eligibility, order your iK Debit Card and understand what happens before and after delivery.
The iK Debit Card is available to eligible iKhokha sole traders or sole proprietors. It is distributed through iKhokha and issued and managed by GoTyme Bank, with a GoTyme Bank EveryDay account opened in your own name. GoTyme Bank approval and GoTyme Bank's terms still apply.
What the iK Debit Card does
The card gives you a bank card linked to an EveryDay account and can support same-day iKhokha payouts when that account is set as the payout account on your iKhokha profile. Ordering or linking the card does not automatically change where iKhokha sends your payouts.
Who can apply?
You must be an eligible sole trader or sole proprietor.
You need an active iKhokha profile.
The EveryDay account and card are subject to GoTyme Bank's account-opening checks, approval and terms.
Eligibility varies by business structure. Check the offer shown for your iKhokha profile.
Already have a bank account or card?
Existing eligible GoTyme Bank customers can still check whether they can get the iK Debit Card. Follow GoTyme Bank's instructions for linking or replacing a card. Once you link your iK Debit Card, it replaces your existing GoTyme Bank debit card and the previous card stops working. Your transaction and statement history stays the same, and you will continue to receive statements.

What you may need
Have your South African ID number and cellphone number ready for GoTyme Bank’s account and one-time-password checks. Follow the order and GoTyme Bank screens; they list any other information you need.
What does it cost?
The GoTyme Bank EveryDay account linked to the iK Debit Card has no monthly account fee. Check the card or delivery charge shown in your order, and use GoTyme Bank's fee schedule for other banking, transaction or withdrawal fees.

Order your card
Sign in to the iK Dashboard with your iKhokha profile.
Open the iK Debit Card order process.
Review the offer, delivery information and any charges shown at checkout.
Complete the requested account and identity information.
Submit the order and keep the confirmation.
Check the delivery fee shown at checkout before you place your order. The order page and GoTyme Bank’s fee schedule show any other charges.
What happens after delivery?
Open or confirm the EveryDay account using GoTyme Bank’s process.
Link or activate the card through the GoTyme Bank app and complete the required verification and PIN steps.
If you want same-day iKhokha payouts, separately update your iKhokha payout bank account to the EveryDay account.
Once you have the card, follow Activate your iK Debit Card to activate it, then Set up your iK Debit Card for same-day payouts if you want eligible same-day payouts. These are separate steps: GoTyme Bank card activation does not switch your iKhokha payout account automatically.
