Activate your iK Debit Card
Complete the issuing bank's EveryDay account and card-linking steps before you use your iK Debit Card.
After your iK Debit Card arrives, complete the issuing bank's EveryDay account and card-linking process before you use the card. The bank manages the account and card, so the exact app labels and activation status come from the bank app's current instructions.
Before you start
Have the physical iK Debit Card with you.
Make sure you can access the cellphone number registered for one-time-password checks.
Open or confirm the EveryDay account required for the card.
Have the current bank app installed and updated.
Link and set up the card in the bank app
Open the issuing bank app and sign in or complete the account-opening step shown.
Choose the option to link or activate a new card.
Use the card details or barcode requested by the bank app.
Complete the one-time-password verification sent to your registered cellphone.
Set a PIN when the bank app asks you to do so.
Finish the confirmation steps and keep the activation confirmation.
The exact menu names, scan steps and confirmation screens may change as the bank app is updated. Follow the labels shown in the issuing bank app. Never share an OTP or PIN with another person, including someone claiming to be Support.
If the linking step does not work
Check that you are using the cellphone number registered for the EveryDay account.
Request a new OTP only through the bank app if the first one expires or does not arrive.
Check that the card details or barcode are clear and that you are following the current scan instructions.
Close and reopen the bank app, then start the link or activation process again if the app stops responding.
If the card still cannot be linked, contact the issuing bank and keep the exact error message ready.
If you already have a card with the bank
You may still be eligible for the iK Debit Card if you already use the bank, but the bank may give you different linking or replacement instructions. Check the bank app’s current instructions before cancelling an existing card. Do not use an old “Damaged” or replacement route unless the bank specifically confirms it.
When can you use the card?
Use the confirmation and status shown by the bank app to tell whether the card-linking and PIN steps are complete. If the app does not confirm the card status, or the card is declined after setup, contact the issuing bank because it manages card activation and card-service queries.
Do not try to fix a bank-card problem by changing your iKhokha payout details. Payout setup is a separate iKhokha task and should only be changed when you intend to change the account receiving payouts.
Activation does not change your iKhokha payout account
Linking the card or opening the EveryDay account does not automatically change the bank account used for iKhokha payouts. To receive eligible same-day payouts, complete the separate iKhokha-side setup in Set up your iK Debit Card for same-day payouts.
Who should you contact?
Contact the issuing bank for the EveryDay account, card linking, PIN, card use or bank-service problem. Contact iKhokha for problems with your iKhokha profile, payout-account configuration or Dashboard access.
